YEAR-END GIVING
Many of you choose to make charitable donations at the end of the year, and December accounts for 25% of our annual budget. Your generosity directly impacts the ministry we’re able to do. As you pray about your year-end gift, or even giving for the first time, please consider how God may be inviting you to partner with us.
YEAR-END GIVING STATEMENTS

In order for your contribution to be deductible in 2024, cash/check donations must be dropped off or postmarked by Tuesday, Dec 31. Online donations should be submitted no later than Friday, Dec 27 to allow for bank processing time. January 2025 contributions cannot be deducted in 2024, even if backdated to December 2024.
Giving statements for the 2024 tax year will be distributed at the end of January 2025. Donors with an email address on record will receive statements via email. Donors without an email on file will be sent statements via mail.

Why give online? Recurring giving from a checking account is the best stewardship of God's resources because it eliminates credit card processing fees and minimizes administrative processing. Our online giving system enables you to connect directly and securely to your financial institution
When I give to Harbor Point, where does the money go? Great question! Simply put, your giving helps support the mission of Harbor Point. Every dollar fuels the resourcing of gospel-centered ministries at the church and beyond. In addition, operating expenses (like property expenses, utilities, staff, kids curriculum, fun events for families, and yes, even the coffee bar) are funded by the generosity of people like you.
Is giving online secure and private? Absolutely. All information and transaction data is protected through secure processing services, and your information is encrypted when transmitted. The online giving form requires contact information like name, email address, and some demographic information. Harbor Point will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. This information is stored in your file in a secure environment separate from our website.
What is the benefit of automatic online donations? Regular online giving is the lifeblood of nonprofit organizations like the church. Plus it's convenient, secure, and helps prioritize the practice of giving back to God. With a regular donation, you can choose the frequency of your gift and when to start the first donation. Many people set their automatic donation to occur on every payday, whether weekly, every two weeks, or twice per month.
Why is verification needed to give through my bank? Because we take security seriously. There are two ways to verify:
Direct log-in to your financial institution using the online credentials you typically use to sign-in to your bank (this feature is available for 13 major U.S. banks and financial institutions).
Micro-deposit account verification.
